3612244 - Joule in SAP SuccessFactors - some use cases / new use case do not work

Joule in SAP SuccessFactors has monthly release: 3604540 - Joule in SuccessFactors Monthly Release -SF Mobile APP Joule and SF Web Joule - SAP for Me

Since January, 16, 2026, we enhance the CDM Content Channel (SFSF Content Channel from Work Zone)refreshing, the SFSF Content Channel will be auto-refreshed for scenarios as below:

1. for any new use cases introduced from Monthly Joule Release / patch Window
2. existing use case but its related feature / permission was disabled by customer
3. existing use case but its related feature / permission was enabled by customer

Please note, to trigger the auto-refreshing of SFSF Content Channel from Work Zone, customer has to manually refresh it once.

Except above Scenarios:

• Due to  LPS_SFSF_dt maintianted with API user password, it may expired due to SF Password Policy, and cause the CDM Content Channel cannot fetch the latest user data and CDM Content Channel. once the password reset after its expiration, we recommend to refresh the CDM Content Channel again.
• If there has no user group & role listed in the Work Zone > IPS, and the IPS Job have been triggered to successfully pushed user data to Work Zone > IPS, it is recommended to quickly refresh the CDM content Channel one more time.

Except SFSF Content Channel, the IPS Job for pushing user data from SF to Work Zone, and the SF Job “Refresh Synthetic Group Data” Job has to run daily. 

This KBA is mainly resolving issue scenarios below:

• Post monthly release, new use cases do not work.
• Post Joule Monthly release, some use cases do not work anymore (including navigational / transactional use cases), even it was working fine before the monthly release and no configuration changes were made during the release.
• Some use cases do not work anymore suddenly even it was working fine before。
