3612457 - Completing the Goods Issue of a partially posted Outbound Delivery Order with header level TU assignment (transp. plan. type: No obligatory planning) if TU is already marked for archiving

Symptom

  • An Outbound Delivery Order (PDO) was assigned to a Transportation Unit (TU) on header level.
  • The PDO has Transportation Planning Type: No obligatory planning. 
  • The PDO was packed into multiple Handling Units, from those, some were Goods Issue (GI) posted via delivery and/or item splits.
  • After the Goods Issue posting, the TU was completed with action "Departure + Save" (Check-Out).
  • The TU was also marked for Archiving (status MARK) via WME_TU preprocessing report WME_ARCH_TU_MARK.
  • When user tries to post GI for the remaining HU(s) (e.g. /SCWM/PRDO, HU tab), system stops processing due to error message: HU &1 not assigned to a transportation unit (Message No. /SCWM/GOODS_MOVEMENT043)
  • Reverse Departure is no longer possible, since the TU is marked for archiving. Related errors:
    • System status MARC is active (&1) (Message No. BS013)
    • Status 'Marks for Archiving' (MARC) does not allow action Cancel Departure from Checkpnt (Message No. /SCWM/SHP_RCV405)
  • Simply creating a new split for the remaining HU(s) via /SCWM/PRDO HU tab, creating Outbound Delivery and posting GI via /SCWM/FD also fails with error: Delivery &1 item &2: Assigned TU already left the checkpoint (Message No. /SCWM/GOODS_MOVEMENT063),
  • Also, if Goods Issue and Distribution (DGD) status is not configured, user may see Goods Issue: Completed status on header level in case of item splits. User may expect the completion of the delivery in VL03N as well.
