• In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, when generating a customer invoice from a customer project with a contract type of periodic billing, the work item assigned to the work package is not included.
• The invoice does not state the type of service provided, which is a requirement for the customer.
• The objects "WorkItemID" and "WorkItemName" are found in the extracted XML from the output, but they do not seem to pick up the work item.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a Customer project with periodic billing using the scope items J11 and 4E9.
2. Generate a customer invoice from the project.

• The current standard design fetches work item details from actual postings and places them in an itemized list.
• Periodic Services and Fixed Price items are not part of the invoice itemized list per design.

1. Acknowledge that the current standard design does not include work items for Periodic Services and Fixed Price items in the invoice itemized list.
2. Consider using a custom field to include the work item in the billing document.
