3612959 - Rounding Off Issue in Actual Work and Overall Outstanding Work Fields in Project

The system is not rounding off the values for Actual work and Overall outstanding work fields in project. The system is rounding off the values for Planned work as per the unit of measurement (UOM) configuration.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Project Management work center
2. Select the Projects view and choose the relevant Project
3. Go to the Project Plan tab and select the Work sub tab
4. Enter the planned work. The system rounds off this value
5. Observe that the Actual work and Overall outstanding work fields display the exact quantity without rounding off

The observed behavior is due to a new feature delivered in the 2502 version of the SAP Business ByDesign system. This feature applies the rounding off functionality based on the unit of measurement (UOM) configuration. However, this functionality is not applied to the Overall outstanding work field.

In the what's new section for Project Management business area (Specific for 2502 version), there is a new feature. 
Display the Decimals Based on UOM
The system adopts the decimal places for the project task service quantity value based on the unit of measurement specified in your Business Configuration settings.
This feature delivered in 2502 version of ByDesign.

 In order to solve the rounding off issue, as a work around you can keep the zero decimals for the unit of measurement, so that no rounding will happen and system will show the actual values.
