Symptom
When using the Manage Purchasing Info Record app, the "Valid To" date filter does not function as expected. Specifically, the app fails to correctly retrieve info records that match the specified "Valid To" date. There is a noticeable discrepancy between the "Valid To" field and the "Price Valid To" field, particularly when a pricing condition in an info record has expired. As a result, the filter yields inconsistent or inaccurate results.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Open the app Manage Purchasing Info Record.
- Apply the filter "Valid To" and enter the date.
- Observe the results showing a mix of "Valid to" dates instead of the specified date.
Resolution
To address the filtering issue in the Manage Purchasing Info Record app, follow these steps:
-
Run the app: Schedule Update of Price for Purchasing Documents.
-
During execution, select the template for Purchasing Info Record.
-
Ensure the following options are checked:
-
Price Determination w/o PO
-
No Date Check
-
The date values displayed in the app are derived from the underlying pricing records and represent the current validity based on calculated data. These values are dynamically generated and may not directly align with the static filters in the filter bar (e.g., "Valid To"). Executing the update process helps ensure that the data displayed reflects the most current and consistent pricing validity information.
