3613133 - Benefit reimbursement eligibility rule (scenario based) not making users ineligible when result is false - 1H2025

Symptom

Reimbursement benefit eligibility rule is becoming False and not setting any value to Reimbursement Eligibility Rule Result.Entitlement Amount. In this case the user is not ineligible but the amount is being taken from Benefit > Entitlement Amount and user is able to claim for it.
PS: Rule is Scenario based.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Global Benefits

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to an employee profile belonging the a legal entity mentioned in the benefit.
  2. Go to Benefits.
  3. An ineligible benefit is being shown under list of benefits.
-The benefit is ineligible as the rule results to false for this user.

Resolution

The issue would be fixed such that user will be ineligible when rule is picked and becomes false, thus not setting any entitlement value for user.
This fix would be available with P8 patch window.

Workaround: Remove the value maintained under Benefit > Entitlement Amount or add Else condition in rule to Else Set Entitlement Amount=0.
