3613305 - Getting Internal server error while accessing BI launchpad with weblogic web server

Symptom

  • Unable to login to BI launchpad with Weblogic 14.x on 4.3 SP03+.
  • Following error message appears in weblogic server logs:

org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; systemId: bundleentry://119.fwk472820037/web/WEB-INF/web-modules.xml; lineNumber: 2; columnNumber: 9; Document root element "modules", must match DOCTYPE root "null"

java.lang.LinkageError: ClassCastException: attempting to castjar:file:/C:/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_Home/oracle_common/modules/jakarta.ws.rs.jakarta.ws.rs-api.jar!/javax/ws/rs/ext/RuntimeDelegate.class to bundleresource://146.fwk1064690805:8/javax/ws/rs/ext/RuntimeDelegate.class
