3613348 - Error: Change or delete duplicate rows with key in 'Fixed Asset Class'

• The following error occurs while trying to add Asset Class ABC in the business configuration activity 'Fixed Asset Classes'.
• Note: ABC refers to the Fixed Asset Class.

SAP Business ByDesign

• Go to the Business Configuration Activity.
• Go to the Implementation Projects view.
• Select the project and choose Open Activity List.
• Navigate to the Fine-Tune phase.
• Search for and open the activity Fixed Asset Classes.
• Open the link Edit fixed asset classes.
• Select Add Row and enter the asset class ABC.
• Choose Save.
• The error "Change or delete duplicate rows with key 'ABC' in 'Fixed Asset Class'" occurs.

The "Lease Management Accounting" functionality is already enabled in the system, and asset class ABC is currently maintained under the business configuration activity:
Lease Management Accounting → Edit ROU Asset Classes.

Since this asset class is already in use within Lease Management, it cannot be added again under the 'Fixed Asset Classes' activity.

This is an Expected system behavior.
