3613401 - Country field in the address portlet does not update when modified via Joule - 1H2025

Symptom

Update the country field in the address portlet using Joule.
ERROR: The Country is read-only and cannot be modified.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Joule

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Joule.
  2. Update my address.
  3. Select the address type to update example: Mail Address/Home Address.
  4. Update the country.
  5. Error: The Country is read-only and cannot be modified.

Cause

Expected Behavior.

Resolution

  • Currently, it is working as per the product design.
  • There are currently no plans about this enhancement. If this is an important subject for your business requirements, kindly consider submitting an enhancement request as per KBA 2090228.
