This article describes the steps on how to perform CompoundEmployee (SFAPI based) requests via Postman.

1. Create New Request

2. Set the Option to POST and form your URL

Example: https://api68sales.successfactors.com/sfapi/v1/soap?wsdl 

3. Under "Headers" tab, unselect the default "Content-Type". Then add new "Content-Type" with value "text/xml"

4. Under "Body" tab, provide the payload for login.

            <credential>

                <companyId>abc</companyId>

                <username>user</username>

A successful call should return the sessionId.

 

5. Then provide the payload for your SFAPI request and it should return the response payload.
