Symptom

When SOLR index is triggered, the following exception would be noticed with Index failure

org.apache.solr.client.solrj.impl.BaseHttpSolrClient$RemoteSolrException: Error from server at http://solr-x.solr.default.svc.cluster.local:8983/solr/admin/cores: Error CREATEing SolrCore 'core_name': Unable to create core [core_name] Caused by: The value of attribute "version" associated with an element type "schema" must not contain the '<' character.
