3613892 - Referenced custom field filter on report leads to error

Symptom

In SEARCH configuration, change globalSearchContextProperties[EntitySearchDefaultToResultPage].enabled and globalSearchContextProperties[PickerSearchDefaultToResultPage].enabled to true and apply changes. Access a report that has the user filter and filter on the user field. Due to the above configurations, the system displays search results immediately > go back to the search options and filter on a referenced custom field. After doing that an error happens.

  • java.sql.SQLException: Could not set statement parameter, index=1

Reproducing the Issue

  • Go to SEARCH configuration and change globalSearchContextProperties[EntitySearchDefaultToResultPage].enabled=true and globalSearchContextProperties[PickerSearchDefaultToResultPage].enabled=true > apply changes
  • Go to Reports > click on a report such as Account Data > click on filter option for users > back to search options > filter on a referenced custom field > error

Resolution

This issue is resolved as part of the 2H 2025 release.

Workaround

Change globalSearchContextProperties[EntitySearchDefaultToResultPage].enabled and globalSearchContextProperties[PickerSearchDefaultToResultPage].enabled to false in SEARCH configuration in System Configuration.
