3614020 - 'IlxApprovalNotification' template, doesn't populate data for '<submitted_on/>' token

Symptom

  • When editing the IlxApprovalNotification Template, the token does not populate data.
  • The field remains empty in the notification.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Edit the 'IlxApprovalNotification' template and add '<submitted_on/>' token for learning requests such as enrollment.
  2. User receives the notification but the submitted on field is blank.

Cause

The token is only supported for user account requests and not for approval reminders.
In the default 'IlxApprovalNotification' template, the <submitted_on/> is only formatted in the user account requests section.
The token will not populate data for other approval reminders.

Resolution

  1. The token is used only for user requests.
  2. It is recommended to use the default template as modifications to the template may cause issues in the data populated.
