3614055 - 'Create a new ledger group for " when saving the Accounting Principle changes - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

While working on the CBC Configuration - ID 103556 for assigning accounting principles to ledgers and company codes, an attempt to save the configuration results in the message: 'Create a new ledger group for *'.

For all ledgers with the same accounting principle a ledger group has to be created which will be used later on for postings related to this accounting principle. In the popup requesting a ledger group name, a 4-character ID can be chosen for this ledger group. For example, this ledger group can be named CHAP to reflect its relation to the assigned accounting principle CHAP in this example.
