3614093 - Group Reporting: Transition from EC-CS, mapping of EC-CS custom subassignments to additional characteristics in Group Reporting

By following SAP Note 2911481, mapping of EC-CS custom subassignments onto additional characteristics of Group Reporting was defined and applied by balance carryforward in "hybrid" system state to convert EC-CS custom subassignments onto additional characteristics in Group Reporting.

User observes that by setting dimension Y1 in Set Global Parameters app

1. Check and Correct Breakdowns of Transaction Data app does not cover check related to any additional characteristics in Group Reporting;
   
   
2. Custom subassignments that originate from EC-CS are still available in configuration steps
   - SAP S/4HANA for Group Reporting > Master Data > Define Breakdown Categories (t-code CX1I4), dialog Breakdown by subassignment,
   - SAP S/4HANA for Group Reporting > Currency Translation for Consolidation > Define Currency Translation Methods (t-code CXD1), dialog Method Entries, Account Assignment.
