Job Process Unposted Time Confirmations from app 'Application Jobs' fails with error message An error occurred. Please create an incident on component CA-TS-S4.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

1. Open app Application Jobs;
2. Select Process Unposted Time Confirmations in the 'Job Template Name' field;
3. Click on Create;
4. Fill the mandatory fields and confirm the job scheduling;
5. Notice that the job will fail, with error message An error occurred. Please create an incident on component CA-TS-S4.

A possible cause for this is a collision between the affected job and an additional job.

For example, Job 1 is processing employee ABC. At the same time, an user executes Job 2 - 'Process Unposted Time Confirmations'. 

With the filter criteria that the user is configuring, this particular employee is retrieved and its time entries are processed/posted. A collision occurs due to Job 1 and Job 2 trying to lock the same employee.

In this situation, error message Transfer already active; try again later can also be seen.

It is necessary to review the date and time of the Process Unposted Time Confirmations job, so it can be executed without any issues.

Additionally, it is important to provide a value between 1 to 99 in the Max No. of Parallel Tasks field, from the Processing Options section of the job. More information can be found below:
