3614608 - Error "Material not Available for Consumption in Project" when consuming a Material in Project Stock Order.

When trying to consume a material in a Project Stock Order, this error pops up:

"Material not Available for Consumption in Project" 

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Navigate to Project Stock Orders view.
3. Find and select the relevant Project Stock Order ID.
4. Choose Edit button.
5. Select the relevant Line Item and click Consume.
6. Enter the relevant Details and click OK.
7. The system returns the error message: Material not available for consumption in project.

The field "Identified Stock Type" is empty in the Material Master Data.

1. Open the Material Master Data.
2. Select the tab General and the sub-tab General.
3. From here you will find the field "Identified Stock Type" being empty.
4. Maintain an option such as "01- Batch" and Save.

Once this will be done, you should be able to consume your Material without error message.
