3614779 - Error AR191: ISO Code is Incorrect in VAT Registration Number During Employee to BP Synchronization

Symptom

When performing Business Partner (BP) synchronization using the report /SHCM_RH_SYNC_BUPA_EMPL_SINGLE, the following error occurs:

ISO code & is not correct in the VAT registration number  
Message No. AR191

This happens because the VAT registration number generated during synchronization does not include the required country prefix (e.g., "PT" for Portugal).

Additionally:

  • The VAT registration number is incorrectly synchronized without the prefix.
  • Validation of the VAT number fails due to the missing prefix.
