3614896 - Why does changing screen label does not take effect？

Symptom

Changing label for screen in UI builder does not take effect on site.

Environment

 

  • SAP Customer Data Cloud
  • UI Builder
  • Screen-sets
  • Localizations

 

Reproducing the Issue

Go to UI builder and change label for respective screen within a selected Screen-Set

Cause

In case localization file is uploaded the system prioritizes it over UI Builder, any changes made in UI Builder won’t sync automatically.  Localization filed needs to be maintained as well.

Resolution

  1. In UI builder select affected Screen-Set
  2. Download  localization file  that is in use.
  3. Update the label field in the CSV file to the preferred text.
  4. Re-upload the updated file.
