Symptom

Error encountered while running DSConnectionManager.sh during the creation of a Google BigQuery data source:

  • [unixODBC][Simba][DSI] An error occurred while attempting to retrieve the error message for key 'GenErr1' with message parameters:
       ['[Simba][DSI] An error occurred while attempting to retrieve the error message for key 'DSDIDFileMissingError' with message parameters:
            ['<GBQ ODBC driver location>/lib/GoogleBigQueryODBC.did'] 
            and component ID 110:
            Could not open error message files - Check that "<GBQ ODBC driver location>/lib/en-US/DSMessages.xml" 
            or "<GBQ ODBC driver location>/lib/en-US/DSMessages.xml" exists and is readable.']
