3615005 - Daily Depreciation Calculation Requirement for Custom Depreciation Method

A custom depreciation method is generated, and guidance is required on how to enable depreciation calculation on a daily basis for this method.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview view.
3. Open the Depreciation Methods activity.
4. Select Edit Depreciation Methods.
5. For the custom depreciation method created, information is required on how to enable depreciation calculation on a daily basis.

To depreciate assets on a daily basis, the daily depreciation flag has to be selected.

1. Go to the Business Configuration Work Center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects View.
3. Select the First Implementation Project and select Open Activity List.
4. Search for the Activity Depreciation Methods and open it.
5. Select Edit Depreciation Method.
6. Select the custom depreciation method created.
7. In the Control Parameters, check the checkbox for Depreciation Period to Exact Date.
