3615017 - HTTP response '500: User not authorized for message processing' when communicating with local Integration Engine using XI receiver adapter

Symptom

Integration Flow is configured to connect Cloud Integration with local Integration Engine using XI receiver adapter. The integration engine address is composed in the following way:
https://<host name>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=receiver&sap-client=<client> 

"Basic Authentication" is configured in XI receiver adapter. During message processing, the following error occurs:

org.apache.cxf.interceptor.Fault: Could not send Message., cause: org.apache.cxf.transport.http.HTTPException: HTTP response '500: User not authorized for message processing' when communicating with http(s)://<host name>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=receiver&sap-client=<client>
