Symptom
SAC Odata connection fails with browser error : 'NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID'
Environment
SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD
Reproducing the Issue
- Log in to SAC and go to "Connection" section
- Select the OData connection
- Edit the connection by clicking on pencil icon
- Insert the secret key for the OAuth client
- Save the connection
- Notice that it re-directs to a browser and throws error 'NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID'
Cause
VPN client blocking the re-direct URI to re-direct to secured browser and establish the connection.
Resolution
Need to consult this with your network or infrastructure team to resolve the VPN issue.
