3615965 - Schedule Publications with variable prompts gives error "A server error has occurred, and the values cannot be processed. Please try again later." in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

Errors when scheduling directly from the folder.
- Error message: "A server error has occurred, and the values cannot be processed. Please try again later."
- No issue when scheduling publication from the view mode or the menu.

Environment

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD 2025.1.14

Reproducing the Issue

Login to SAC
Select the story from the folder file manager
Click Share -> Schedule Publication
Click Edit Prompt
Select a prompt then gets the error: "A server error has occurred, and the values cannot be processed. Please try again later.'

Cause

The issue occurs due to a CORS error.
Specifically, the request to fetch variable value help was being blocked because the required HTTP header "access-control-request-headers: firefly-cache-hints" was not included in the BW system's Allowed Headers configuration.

Resolution

Add "firefly-cache-hints" to the Allowed Headers list in the BWx system.
