3616087 - During Logistics Area Migration, Error Triggered: Parent Logistics area ABC does not exist.

Symptom

During logistics area migration through migration tool, in step 3 "Simulate Import", error triggered: Parent Logistics area ABC does not exist.Touse it as parent, add entry for DEF as Logistics area

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to work center Business Configuration, access view Implementation Projects.
  2. Select a project, click Open Activity List.
  3. Select Tab Integrate and Expand, in the below select activity "Migration of Location and Logistics Area", click Open.
  4. Click link "Migrate Location and Logistics Area using the migration tool".
  5. Select file which not completed, click Execute Migration - Execute Migration Step by Step.
  6. Click Next until step 3 "Execute Import", there is error: Parent Logistics area ABC does not exist.Touse it as parent, add entry for DEF as Logistics area 

*ABC, DEF represent logistics area ID.

Cause

In the migration file, in sheet "LOA - General", logistics area ABC is maintained as Parent Logistics Area of logistics area DEF, however there is no row which has ABC maintained in Logistics Area ID.

Resolution

In the migration file, in sheet "LOA - General", add a row, maintain ABC in Logistics Area ID and leave Parent Logistics Area ID empty.
