Symptom

The Data Retention Management tool fails to load and shows the below error message.

Reproducing the Issue

Login to instance
Go to > Data Retention Management page
The page keeps loading and throws an error message:

Cause

The performance issue is caused by an excessive number of purge rules configured in the system.

Resolution

To prevent loading issues on the Data Retention Management page, review the configured purge rules and delete any rules that are no longer required.
Removing excessive rules can help avoid performance issues.

Steps to follow:

Navigate to the Data Retention Management page.
Click More Actions > Delete from the UI. (This action will help improve page loading performance)

If you are already experiencing loading issues, please open an incident under LOD-SF-PLT-DRM and provide written approval to proceed with deleting the rules.

Note: The rules that will be deleted through this process are unscheduled rules under the “Save” rule section.
