3616626 - HANA_UMML Delivery Unit not being updated while importing using HALM

Symptom

  • During S/4HANA upgrade, following error occurs in SUM phase PREP_GENCHECKS/HDB_CHK_COMPONENTS:
    The delivery unit HANA_UMML has version 1.10.1 on the database and has to be updated to version 1.12.8.
     Archive for delivery unit HANA_UMML from file /data_temp/PUT/SUM/abap/mem/HDBDESTCOMP.DMP does not exist

  • When importing the delivery unit using the SAP HANA Application Lifecycle Management tool (Import a Delivery Unit | SAP Help Portal ), the tenant databases where the import should be performed are not displayed and SUM still complains that version is not updated.
