3616639 - Error "You do not have permission to edit the value. Please contact your system administrator" when saving National ID information - 1H 2025

While saving the National ID information where OnChange rule is setting the values, the error "You do not have permission to edit the value. Please contact your system administrator" is occurring.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to employee profile -> Navigate to National ID information.
2. Give the details -> Click on Save.
3. The error "You do not have permission to edit the value. Please contact your system administrator" occurs.

Prerequisite: There is OnChange rule to set/change the fields based on other fields in National ID information.

• Workaround: Configure the OnSave rule with the same configuration as the OnChange rule and enable this rule.
