3616706 - Cannot find custom Business Catalog after transport from Development System - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

After custom business catalog is published and transported from Development system, it cannot be found in Test/Production System.

The published status is not consistent with Development system, while checking in ADT in target system, it shows as "Unpublished".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

The issue is caused by the selection of the "Scope Dependent" flag when publish the custom business catalog. This option should only be used in partner solutions but not for customers.

Resolution

  1. Deselect the flag of "Scope Dependent" in ADT for this business catalog.
  2. Publish the custom business catalog again.
  3. Release and import the related transport request again.
