3616711 - Contact person (type: AP) 's name cannot be updated after editing the name in sales order.

Symptom

  • In sales order, Header - Partner function tab, Contact person's name field is not getting updated after editing the name.
  • The issue is specific to contact person in sales document. The behavior is working fine for other partner function.
