3617008 - The Compensation Statements are generating for employees who are greyed out in worksheet

Symptom

  • After creating and applying a rule to make new hires ineligible for merit increases, completing compensation planning, and generating statements, statements are still created for these ineligible employees.
  • The compensation statement for a new hire displays no merit increase amount, yet a statement is still produced for them.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create and apply rule to make new hires ineligible for merit increases.
  2. Complete compensation planning.
  3. Generate Statements.
  4. Statements are created for ineligible employees.

Cause

This is the system's expected behavior. The presence of employees in the compensation worksheet indicates their eligibility for statement generation, regardless of their eligibility for a merit increase based on specific rules.

Resolution

If you prefer not to generate statements for certain employees, utilize the "Suppress Statement" tool available in the template settings.

For detailed guidance on configuring this feature, please refer to the SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Implementation Guide.
