Symptom
Attachment is deleted in previous effective dated historic entry when editing the entry and creating a new one at later date for payment information. (Please note that this issue is very specific when changing certain combination of fields with attachment field).

Reproducing the Issue
1) Make sure you have an attachment field added to payment information.
2) Add a new entry into Payment information and make sure this entry has an attached file for the attachment field.
3) Now go and edit this entry again and change the effective date (So it will create a new dated entry in payment information history).
4) When editing, also change bank value for bank field and delete the existing attachment and add a new attachment file. Save this change.
5) note how you now have a new effective dated entry saved with all the correct information and new attachment.
6) But also click on the previous old effective dated entry and note how the attachment there is gone (This is the issue).

This issue is currently being investigated by our engineering team.
Resolution
Issue is being investigated by our engineering team and this knowledge base article will be updated.
Workaround: Please note that issue can be avoided by not doing certain field combinations of edits/updating. Issue for example seems to occur when updating bank field and attachment field at same time, but not when just changing attachment field only.
