Symptom

  • Schedule backup in DBACockpit failed
  • Showing status as "Not available" & "Scheduling failed ".
  • There is a error 712 in Program log

          Msg 712, Level 17, State 3:
          Server 'XXX', Procedure 'SP_ADM_DUMPDB', Line 172:
          There is insufficient heap memory to allocate 164040 bytes. Please increase configuration parameter 'heap memory per user' or try again when there is less activity on the system.
           Error: Job Parameters are not correctly set.(return status = -7)
