3617234 - Unable to access Follow-up Survey direct link

Symptom

While trying to access the Follow-up Survey direct link generated for an item, Receiving error message as 'The survey is either completed or not accessible.'

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

Goto Learning Administration
Generate Direct Link
Give the Direct Link type as : Launch Survey
Select the Item type, Item ID and Survey Type as: Follow-up Survey
Click on Display Link
Try to Open the generated Link you will Receive the error message as 'The survey is either completed or not accessible.'

Cause

The Item was Completed before the Association of the Survey. In order for the Follow-up Survey Direct link to work the Item should be completed by the User and a Survey should be associated to it before completing that item.

Resolution

After associating the follow-up survey to the item, reassigning the item to the user, completing the item, and generating a new direct link, the error message will be gone.
