SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Workflows

1. Configure a workflow with Role Type - Position Relationship.
2. Initiate workflow ( initiator - UserA).
3. Create position POS-A.
4. Workflow is triggered to approver - UserA.
5. Workflow Pending Action email notification is sent to UserA. 
6. The [[CURRENT_OWNER]] workflow tag shows - Approvers manager name. 

This is expected behavior.

• This is expected functionality as of the 1H 2025 release when "Enable Four Eye Principle" is NOT enabled in Platform Feature Settings, as confirmed by the engineering team.
• For Non-MDF workflows (EC HRIS elements), the workflow tag [[CURRENT_OWNER]] will display the manager of the subject user in the notification if the approver is the same as the subject user.
• For MDF object-based workflows (Position), the workflow tag [[CURRENT_OWNER]] will display the manager of the initiator who initiated the workflow in the notification if the approver is the same as the initiator.
