3617582 - Deletion flag not reflected in the app Manage Customer Line Items in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • Activated the deletion flag at the customer level for a specific company code in the customer master.
  • Deletion flag is not being reflected in the filter field Customer in the app Manage Customer Line Items.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Maintain Business Partner
  2. Select Business Partner
  3. Select Customer(Fin.Accounting) role in Display in BP Role
  4. Click on Company Code button
  5. Navigate to the tab Customer: Status
  6. Set Deletion Flag

Resolution

  1. There is a Central Deletion flag under Customer Status in the General Data. The value help on customers in Manage Customer Line Items displays the central deletion indicator across all company code assignments maintained in the General Data.
  2. If the deletion flag was maintained for one specific company code, the search in the Customer filter field does not display and search the deletion flag the maintained under the company code.
  3. The deletion flag maintained is shown in the detailed value help when selecting the search template ‘Customers (by company code)’.
