3617597 - Identification Node is Not Available as Filter in Global Search

Symptom

Identification ID (for accounts and individual customer) is not available to be added as filter to the global search.

Environment

SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Open Filter configuration under global search.
  3. Select Individual customer. 
  4. Click on add.
  5. Notice the field 'Identification ID' is not available.

Resolution

Currently it's possible to add only root entity filterable = true fields in the Filter configuration under global search. This is the reason why the "identification id" which is a sub-entity field can't be added.
