Symptom
Within the Learning module, ratings are not shown consistently across all pages.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Log into HCM > navigate to the Learning module as user >
- With the 'New Learning Experience' toggle being disabled, make a library search >
- At the Results page, notice that the item's rating says "4.54 out of 5 stars" >
- Click on the item's title to navigate to the Course Details page >
- Notice that now the rating says "4.50 out of 5 stars" >
- Within Learning Administration > Learning Activities > Items > search for same item as in step #2 above > open the item's record >
- At the item's header, notice that the rating says "4.50 out of 5 stars".
Resolution
Initially the scenario reported was planned to be addressed as a defect. However, due to the complexity of the code correction, our Engineering team's strategy changed and the code correction is currently being worked on as an enhancement, which goal is to get the system to display ratings consistently across the Learning application.
As this task is being worked on as an enhancement and not a bug/defect, currently there is no planned date nor planned version on when the scenario will be addressed.
