3617745 - RCM: Applicant status visibility not working for operators

Symptom

In the Edit Applicant status visible permission is not given to Hiring Manager for "Auto disqualified" (it can be any) status however Hiring Manager is able to view it.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to instance
  2. Goto Recruiting
  3. Access any requisition and candidates under that requisition
  4. Observe that Hiring manager or any operator can view the status even though visible permission is not granted in edit applicant status.

Cause

Possible cause is that the operator who is able to view the status for which the permission is not granted is because the operator is also assigned with another operator role.

For example, Hiring Manager doesn't have permissions to view disqualify status but he is also the originator of the requisition. If the originator has been provided with visible permissions in edit applicant configuration then by default Hiring Manager will be able to view the status even without visible permission as he is the originator of the requisition for whom visibility permissions are provided.

Note: If both originator and Hiring Manager is a same person then this cause is applicable.

Resolution

It is expected that if the same person is a part of both the operator role like originator and HM, then enabling visible permission for either of the operator role will have visibility for other role by default.
