3617936 - HANA Cloud could not be accessed due to Major Upgrade Event

Symptom

  • You noticed that application failed to access to HANA cloud with the following message:
    [hana] - Error: Could not establish connection for tenant 'undefined' due to error: Could not connect to any host: [XXX.hanacloud.ondeman.com:443 - Client network socket disconnected before secure TLS connection was established]"
  • It has been confirmed that HANA Cloud was unavailable due to Major Upgrade Event
  • You would like to know if it is possible to manually launch the upgrade without downtime before Major Upgrade Window to avoid such disruption in the future.
