Symptom
Headings of columns is changing while exporting the table to .csv with 'All' scope selected.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.1.10
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to SAC
- Open the story in view mode
- Click on context menu for table widget (3 dots)
- Click on Export
- Select file type as 'CSV'
- Select scope as 'All'
- Check 'Include Formatting' checkbox
- Click on Ok
Notice: The headers of the columns in CSV file is different from the SAC story.
Cause
Exported file reflects the original technical names from the data source or model, and these cannot be altered during the 'export all' process via the current design of the system, even if it is getting reflected in SAC.
Resolution
Change the headings of the columns in the model or data source level, from where the changes will correctly reflect in both the SAC story and exported file.
