3618724 - Connection Test failure for destination with "Fast serializer"

Symptom

When performing a Connection Test in an SM59 destination between a system that supports "Fast serializer" and a system that does not support it, the following error occurs:

 "connection closed (no data)" or "RFC log version &1 not supported" (older releases).
