3618813 - Custom Offboarding Task is not Generated - Onboarding

Custom Offboarding Task is not Generated.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Go to "Offboarding dashboard", and find the offboardee
2. Only one offboarding step was generated
3. Go to "BPE:Monitor Process"
4. Find the error: Error, for more details check logs for ID [xxxxxx]
5. Search the error id in log and find the error message: BPE will try to match a process instance error definition to handle error on business level by BPE. Cannot invoke "com.successfactors.onboarding2.bean.customTasks.config.ONB2CustomTaskDefinition.getTaskDefinitionId" because the return value of "com.successfactors.onboarding2.bean.customTasks.config.ONB2OffboardingCustomTasksConfig.getCustomTaskDefinition" is null

There is no custom task definition linked which has caused this issue. 

1. Go to "Manage Data" > "Custom Task Definition" > search the custom task name
2. Get the Custom Task Definition ID
3. Go to "Manage data" > "ONB2OffboardingActivitiesConfig" > Find the offboarding Tasks
4. Take Action > Make Correction
5. Find "customTasksConfig"
6. Click "Details"
7. Link the active Custom Task Definition ID in the ONB2OffboardingActivitiesConfig
8. Save
