Symptom
When trying to run Data Actions in a model, all steps in the Data Action are executed with success but when it reaches the publish step it fails stating:
"The results of the data action "XXXXXXX" could not be published on version "yyyy". You don't have the resources available to publish this version. Please try again later."
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud 1.0
Cause
The memory consumption used by the Data Action reaches the upper limit of the shared tenant because the data volume of this version is too big to publish.
Resolution
please consider the following in this situation, which might help overcome this problem:
- The Planning Area settings are not detailed (optimized). We recommend setting up a detailed division. (Example. In the case of a 800-million version, allocate at least 1/10 or less).
- It is recommended to split the current version into multiple versions and use them, or to save the reporting version in a backup model and use only the planning version in the corresponding model. (Example. In the case of a 800-million version, a single planning version is allocated at least 1/10 or less.)
- If the Private version or Public Edit mode version is continuously used, it may be helpful to clean up unused versions as they cost memory.
- If you have difficulty considering the above items, please consult with your consulting representative to ask about moving to a dedicated tenant.
