Symptom

  • Solr search functionality is not working in production environment.
  • When performing a search, a 500 internal server error is returned.
  • Error message: "message":"Error from server at http://solr-2.solr.default.svc.cluster.local:8983/solr/xxxxx_flip_shard1_replica_n1: can not sort on a field w/o docValues unless it is indexed=true uninvertible=true and the type supports Uninversion: xxx_xx_sortabletext"
