- The heat map connected with live models is not behaving consistently in rank function.
- The issue is specific to live models, while acquired models behave correctly and consistently.
- The inconsistency occurs with the top 5 ranking configuration using dimension input controls.

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD 2025.1.8

1. Login to SAC
2. Go to Stories
3. Create a heat map connected with two dimensions and one measure.
4. Configure the heat map to map the top 5 ranking.
5. Use dimension input controls to filter dimensions.
6. Observe inconsistent ranking results when changing dimensions.

Filter precedence causing inconsistent results when multiple input controls interact.

The inconsistency we observed with the top 5 ranking configuration using dimension input controls is due to one filter potentially overriding another.

This interaction can lead to inconsistent results when multiple input controls are used. Specifically, this filter precedence can cause the ranking function to not always apply consistently across all input controls.

This behavior is inherent when multiple input controls interact.
