Symptom

  • "404 Missing Page" error occurred when logging onto BILaunchpad using SAML SSO 
  • The following errors got output in springsaml.log.
    DEBUG BaseSignatureTrustEngine:144 - Signature validation using candidate validation credential failed
    org.opensaml.xml.validation.ValidationException: Unable to evaluate key against signature
    Caused by: org.apache.xml.security.signature.XMLSignatureException: Error [0xa0100202]: Signature verification failed, wrong key or encoding method
    DEBUG ExplicitKeySignatureTrustEngine:115 - Failed to verify signature using either KeyInfo-derived or directly trusted credentials
