3619666 - Compliance Form e-Signature Step Missing - Onboarding

• Compliance forms enabled, signature step not showing.
• Error message in Business Process Tile: "Error occurred during read of Business Process Engine Process Instance: 12345ab6789de0123fg: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'errorMessageParameterMap')"

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Complete the Compliance task or I-9 Sections
2. Complete E-Signature on Compliance Forms did not trigger
3. In Business Process tile, found error message: Error occured during read of Business Process Engine Process Instance: 12345ab6789de0123fg: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'errorMessageParameterMap').

DMS (Document Management Service) missing configuration.

Check if DMS (Document Management Service) has been configured properly.  Please check see also tab for more reference.

Contact OpenText team if issue remains even after reviewing the configuration.

Workaround to correct issue for affected candidates:

1. With candidate's user ID, go to Manage Data > Compliance Process > Identify what is the Process ID for the I-9 task OR Compliance Country.
2. Once found, please go to the Business Process tile and search for this Process ID.
3. You'll find a Compliance Process error and by opening it, the error message example: Error occured during read of Business Process Engine Process Instance: 12345ab6789de0123fg: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'errorMessageParameterMap') > Copy this Process Instance ID.
4. Go to BPE: Manage User Task.
5. Click Filter icon and on the Process Instance field and provide ID found > Click Apply > Select the task > Then click on Complete Task.
6. The error homepage card should disappear
7. The compliance document or e-signature task should be available in Onboarding Dashboard for affected candidates.
