3619702 - MDF portlet issue in Latest People Profile: default screen not found

• MDF portlet shows the error: "Looks like something went wrong." "Please try again. If the issue persists, contact your system administrator."
• The error code is 400 and when hovered over, it states "Default Screen Not Found".

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Migrate to the Latest People Profile;
2. Access custom objects;
3. Observe error code 400 with the message "Default Screen Not Found".

The error suggests that there is no valid configUI attached to the object definition. In the legacy People Profile, administrators could select the Config UI or Screen ID. However, now it has to be configured on the Default Screen field in Admin Center Configure Object Definitions page.

To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below to add the default screen on the object level:

1. Go to Configure Object Definitions;
2. Select "Object Definition" and search for the custom MDF object;
3. Go to Take Action > Make Correction to edit the object;
4. Go to field "Default Screen" and select the UI you created for this object;
5. Click "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
