3619892 - Error When Restarting SAP HANA Tenant Database After Moving Datafile to Default Location "/hana/data/xxx/mnt/hdb"

Symbolic link created for "/hana/data/xxx/mnt/hdb" file, moving back to default location gives below mentioned error:

Wrong savepoint version: Found xxxx but must not be newer than xxxx 

Trying to restart the tenant db gives below mentioned error:

Could not execute 'alter system start database xxx' in 9.202 seconds . 
SAP DBTech JDBC: [2]: general error: Database could not be started;start databaseServer for database=7 on : hanaxxx:3xx58 failed
